The members of MEMORIES OF BONEY M have been singing since the 70's and have a wealth of talent and experience between them. They also call upon some of their friends from time to time, for their strong performance skills, great voices and wonderful energy to help entertain audiences in that true 'Boney M' way...

'Ma Baker'...

Debra was born in California, USA, in the early 60's, and her music has made her a true international star. By the mid 70’s Debra and her sisters were performing throughout the United States. By the 80’s Debra had set sail for Europe, which is where she now resides. She has performed in a variety of tours all over the world, including Japan, Africa, and extensively throughout Europe. Debra is a sophisticated, soulful, jazzy, and dynamic vocalist and has worked with the likes of 'Elton John, 'Sting', 'PP Arnold', 'Toni Childs', 'Bobby Womack', 'Jamiroquai', 'Ayres Ray Shell', 'Nona Hyndrix', 'Joe Cocker', 'Caron Wheeler', 'Alison Moyet' and others.

'Holi-Holiday'...

Born in London then living in Barbados is where it all began for Andrea. From the early age of 14 Andrea found her love for music and quickly became involved in the music industry in everyway possible. Returning to London in the 80’s she performed all over London and Germany in renowned venues such as the Embassy Club, Camden Palace.

 

Andrea has worked with artists such as 'The Weather Girls', 'Lou Bega', 'Jimmy Nail' and the 'London Philharmonic Orchestra'. It was after this that she went on to meet and work with 'Marcia Barratt' at the Royal Drury Lane Theatre, one of the original members of Boney M.

'Sunny'...

Born in Paris, raised in London, but an American national, Chantal's vocal ability and musical interests reflects her eclectic background. Over the years she has had the pleasure of working with 'PP Arnold', 'Geno Washington', 'Sonique' and 'Baby D'; as well as with her own originals bands for hundreds of thousands of people around Europe, including Wembley Arena. She has graced some of the most acclaimed stages in the UK & Europe; from Reading & Leeds (UK), Supersonic & Oya (Norway) festivals. Chantal brings vibrancy and an abundance of energy to every stage she is invited to.

"Hooray! Hooray!"

Cherry built a strong career in the UK before embarking on a 12-month contract in China, where she not only showcased her singing talents but also served as a body double for Lela Rochon in the movie 'Knock Off', which brought her alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme and Rob Schneider. Subsequently, she had the privilege of touring with the original Bobby Farrell, covering a diverse range of locations such as Canada, America, Russia, Dubai, Minsk, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan over a 10-year + period. Alongside her touring, Cherry is also a songwriter, collaborating with Chaz Jankel from Ian Dury and the Blockheads. Her voice has been featured in numerous songs with various artists, and now she continues her career showcasing her voice with the Memories of Boney M.

'Daddy Cool'...

Born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in London England, Isaac Brown sings, writes and produces music that appeals to people on both sides of the Atlantic. His influences are derived from decades of timeless music and genres including Soul, Reggae, Motown, RnB, Pop and Dance. With various tours and productions all over the UK and Europe under his belt, Isaac is a very competent and confident performer with a very warm tenor tone. He has worked with 'Roger Walters' (Pink Floyd) 'Aswad', 'Alabama 3', 'Ray Ruffin' (Son of Jimmy Ruffin), and 'O.D. Hunte'; including tours with 'Sounds of the Drifters', 'Motown Gold', 'Ca Ira' (Opera) & performed on 'The Jools Holland Show'.

'Bahama Mama'...

Born in London, England to Jamaican parents, Geraldine has been singing her entire life. As a young enthusiastic fan of Aretha Franklin and John Holt, Geraldine would always sing along to soul and reggae classics. She joined her first band when she was 17, and has been the choice backing vocalist for such artists as 'Joe Cocker', 'Loose Ends', 'Sandra Cross', 'Explainer' as well as many other reggae and soul bands around the world; including Europe and Russia.

 

Geraldine has a true love and passion for all genres of music, including Soca, and other 'Island' music, which compliments her sunshine-like soulful tones.

'No Woman, No Cry'...

Michelle has been singing and performing around Londo, the UK and extensively across Europe, USA and Japan since the early 1990's. Her soft soulful tones have given her the opportunity to have worked with artists from across the globe and from varying musical genres, including 'Joe Cocker', 'UB40', 'Caron Wheeler (Soul II Soul)', 'Loose Ends' and 'Peter Hunningale' to name but a few. 

Michelle is a heavily active singer, writer and performer who dedicates time to creating Soca, Calypso and RnB music, with various singing ensembles; one of which performs at the world famous 'Notting Hill Carnival' - the largest festival in Europe.

'Brown Girl In The Ring'...

Alison started singing in school aged 14 and quickly went on to become a star pupil. She then went on to write and record her own songs, winning numerous talent shows and developing as an artist. Alison's talents have enabled her to go on to provide backing vocals for many major UK soul artists, including 'Lemar', 'Glen Lewis' and 'Terri Walker'. With her sweet soulful, pure voice, Alison has performed on some of the biggest stages in the world, including, Wembley Stadium, the Royal Albert Hall and Glastonbury. Alison has made various TV appearances, including MTV, 'The Jools Holland Show' and Mercury Music Prize. Alison is also an acomplished writer and regularly performs around the UK.
